Adriana is a Brazilian lawyer who graduated from the University of Ouro Preto (Brazil), and has an extensive career in administrative positions in private and public organisations. Throughout her life, she volunteered providing Legal Aid Services to vulnerable people and completed many courses with emphasis on Contract Management from the Law and Business Studies Centre (Brazil), and an introductory course on Non-profit Accounting from Harvard Business School.
Adriana loves travelling, meeting people and learning about differences. She moved from Brazil to Canada in February 2020 to develop a more open-minded sense of the world and experience different cultures. She became an NCC client and was immediately inspired by the life-changing work.
Now, as the Office Administrator at the Peterborough Office, she feels very fortunate to combine her legal and administrative experience with her passion for justice and human rights, while empowering other immigrants and refugees to achieve their goals and have a full and happy life in Canada.
