Krista was raised in Brantford on the 1784 Haldimand Treaty traditional land of the Haudenosaunee and Anishnaabe Peoples before completing a degree in Sociology and Political Studies with a focus on Criminology and Socio-legal studies at Trent University.
Since arriving in Peterborough/Nogojiwanong, Krista has emphasized and worked towards a continued sustainable, diversified, and connected Peterborough community. She hopes to bring her non-profit and previous community governance experience to NCC and aid newcomers to feel at home. And connected
Outside of the NCC, Krista enjoys cooking, baking, volunteering, and attending any and all sports events.
