Mohamad was born in Damascus City and immigrated to Canada in 2016 through the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) program. He graduated with BBA (Honours) in Business from Trent University with accounting specialization and also has a BA Diploma in Technology from Damascus University.

Mohamad is a social practitioner with more than 6 years of experience working with non-profit community service agencies, INGOs, and UNHCR agencies, providing assessments, counselling, referrals, conducting information searches alongside case management for diverse client groups including displaced populations such as refugees, youth, families and disabled clients.

Mohamad feels fortunate and honoured to be part of the NCC team and to continue his professional journey of assisting newcomers.

 

Mohamad is on parental leave starting January 2024.
