Sabina Thiessen

Sabina graduated in June of 2017 from Trent University with a BA in International Development Studies and a minor in History.

She grew up in Belleville, Ontario, but now calls Colborne her home. After completing an independent research project in association with the Trent Community Research Centre and the NCC, she was fascinated by the organization and the amazing work the NCC does in the local community.

She enjoys working with children and youth, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places – near and far. She is excited to have the opportunity to be part of the team of the New Canadians Centre.
