English Conversation Group

Please Note: Due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Ontario, the New Canadians Centre will be suspending all group programs and activities until further notice. There will be no English Conversation Groups beginning Tuesday, March 17 until further notice.

Do you want to practice your English speaking and listening skills?

Drop in for our weekly English Conversation Group. This program is free for clients of the NCC and all levels of English is welcome.

To register as a client of the NCC, please call 705 743 0882 to book an intake appointment with a Settlement Counsellor.

Please note: there are two English Conversation Groups. Tuesday’s Group meets at NCC from 10:00am to 12:00pm (beginning Sept. 10, 2019) while the Thursday Group meets from 5:30 to 7:30pm at NCC (beginning September 12, 2019).
