As a Volunteer Interpreter you will provide invaluable assistance to newcomers seeking to access services (for example, at hospitals, school boards, social assistance offices, etc.).  The New Canadians Centre seeks to maintain a large pool of volunteers so that interpretation requests for any language can be met as quickly as possible.  Although you may rarely be called upon to provide assistance, when needed that assistance is essential.
