New Canadians Centre seeks Executive Director

Founded in 1979, the New Canadians Centre Peterborough (NCC) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting immigrants and refugees across the Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton and Northumberland regions. NCC helps newcomers become full and equal members of Canadian society while fostering cultural integration in a welcoming community. With nearly 50 employees and over 250 volunteers representing dozens of countries and cultures, NCC serves more than 2,000 newcomers annually along their settlement journey in Canada. Since 2008, NCC has played a leadership role in the Peterborough Immigration Partnership, uniting over 50 organizations to advance immigrant integration strategies for the region.

At an exciting time in the organization’s evolution, the Board seeks a collaborative leader for the role of Executive Director. The successful candidate will generate opportunities to build NCC as a strong, resilient and sustainable organization, helping it expand its impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, team development, and successful management of the organization via four direct reports.
