Changes in Drop-in format for Appointments (effective Jan. 2, 2018)
Starting January 2, 2018 the New Canadians Centre will have new drop-in hours. Our organisation has grown quickly in the last few years. Last year we welcomed more than 800 new clients from over 75 different countries. To handle the increased demand in services, we need to set specific drop-in times for brief services. During drop-in times, clients and support groups members can get help with quick questions and simple problems. We will have both English and Arabic drop-in times, as most clients can speak one of these two languages. An appointment is required for larger issues or for help in a language other than English or Arabic. For full details, please see our updated office schedule below.

Office Schedule
General Office Hours
During general office hours, you can:
- Drop off item
- Pick up items
- Print or fax items
- Book appointments
- Get information on general programs, services and events
Brief Services (Drop-in)
During drop-in times, you can see the staff person on call. You can get help with quick questions and simple problems. For example, you can get help to:
- Explain a bill
- Book a language assessment
- Look up an address
- Other quick questions
