Newcomer Storytelling Groups

Storytelling is a powerful tool that can help us discover ourselves, heal, and build community. Through stories, we connect.

The New Canadians Centre offers trainings and activities for newcomers to help teach skills in storytelling and public speaking. We endeavour to explore different modes of storytelling and provide opportunities for newcomers to tell their stories on their own terms.

Check out the pages below for the Newcomer Storytelling Groups we have offered thus far.
