Collecting for Spring New-to-You Giveaway
April 12 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
We are looking for donations of gently-used items for our Spring Giveaway.
Donations can be dropped off at the NCC on Friday April 12 between 10am and 5pm.
The Giveaway will be held on Saturday, April 13, between 10am and 1pm, for newcomers in the Peterborough region.
Items left after the Giveaway will be donated to other not-for-profit organisations to be re-distributed for free.
Here are the items that we are collecting:
- Reusable grocery bags
- Gently-used Spring and Summer clothing for adults and children of all ages
- Small household items in good condition such as dish sets, cutlery, small appliances (kettles, toasters etc.)
- School supplies, including backpacks (child and adult), stationery, lunch kits
- Car seats, booster seats, and strollers in good condition and not expired
- New toiletries
- Toys (no fabric or plush toys please)
- No underwear or swimwear
- No furniture or large items
- No electronics
- No books
