“Clear Writing” Workshop

Do you want to improve your writing skills?

Do you create handouts, brochures or web content?

Would you like to make your content more accessible?

Clear Writing is about the way you communicate in writing. It’s about the

• language you use
• format of your document
• design of your document

Clear Writing connects directly with your audience. It says what you mean, simply and clearly. It can be used for all the writing you do.

Workshop Outcomes

From this workshop, you will

• have a better understanding of the Clear Writing guidelines
• have the tools to use Clear Writing in your day-to-day work
• be able to help with next steps – working on internal and external documents for multiple audiences, consider Clear Writing policies, style guides, etc.
