Amany is a passionate individual who made the journey to Canada in 2007 to pursue higher education. Originally from Egypt, she found a sense of belonging in the city of Peterborough, which has been her home for over a decade.

During her time in Peterborough, she has been actively engaged in community service, particularly in supporting refugee families in their settlement process. Through volunteering efforts, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges and struggles faced by newcomers, and she remains committed to making a positive difference in their lives.

Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys exploring their culinary skills by trying out new dishes in the kitchen, walking especially during the warm summer months, and finds relaxation in the art of crocheting.
