Celis Garcia Lara

Celis Garcia Lara is originally from Venezuela and has called Canada home since 2017. Before moving to Canada, she built a career as a teacher, working closely with children and teenagers.

Now retired from her teaching role, Celis continues to share her passion for education and care through her work at the New Canadians Centre, a role she has held since 2022. She especially enjoys the opportunity to interact with young children, bringing warmth, patience, and joy to every moment she spends with them.
