Christina is a Certified Canadian Language Benchmarks Assessor (CLARS) and can provide newcomers with language assessments to enter language learning programs like the LINC and ESL programs.
Christina is a qualified elementary and secondary school teacher with a B.A. in Psychology from Trent University and a B.Ed. From Queen’s University. She brings over 30 years of experience as a teacher for PVNCCDSB. Christina was the ESL/ELD Resource teacher and has supported many newcomer students and their families.
Christina’s parents are immigrants to Ontario, which has given her a deep appreciation for the experiences of newcomers. She is passionate about teaching English and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.
