Collection for New-To-You Fall Giveaway
September 13 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
We are looking for donations of gently-used items for our Fall Giveaway: clothing, household items, toys, school and craft supplies. Donations can be dropped off at the NCC today!
The Giveaway will be held on Saturday, September 14, between 10am and 12pm, for newcomers in the Peterborough region.
Items left after the Giveaway will be donated to other not-for-profit organisations to be re-distributed for free.
Here are the items that we are collecting:
- Reusable grocery bags
- Gently-used Fall and Winter clothing for adults and children of all ages
- Small household items in good condition such as dish sets, cutlery, small appliances (kettles, toasters etc.)
- School supplies, including backpacks (child and adult), stationery, lunch kits
- Car seats, booster seats, and strollers in good condition and not expired
- New toiletries
- Umbrellas
- Toys (no fabric or plush toys please)
- No blankets or linens
- No underwear
- No electronics
- No books
- No furniture or large items please
