New Micro-Credential Course: Intercultural Communication for Public Leaders
The New Canadians Centre, in partnership with Trent University, is offering a 4-week in-person micro-credential course focused on building effective intercultural communication and inclusive leadership skills.
Through interactive workshops, participants will explore immigration realities in Canada, learn and practice cultural humility, understand language and communication barriers from a newcomer’s perspective, and use storytelling to build empathy and connection.
You will receive a microcredential certificate and badge following successful completion which can be added to your resume and LinkedIn.
Who it’s for: Professionals, students, volunteers, and community members working in multicultural settings.
