NCC’s 45th Anniversary Block Party

Join us as we celebrate 45 years of community and welcome with our neighbours!
Come to the New Canadians Centre for a fun-filled afternoon outdoors.
We’re closing off the parking lot on Friday from 2 to 6pm and there will be lots of free, family-friendly activities for you to enjoy.
Check out the bouncy castle, displays from 9 multicultural organisations, crafts, henna and facepainting 
Our partners from the Multicultural Food Crawl will be there with samples, and there will be halal and vegetarian hotdogs, popcorn and freezies.
Our friends from Green Up will be there with the Bike Playground 
, and YMCA of Central East Ontario and Peterborough Public Library will also share activities. The Kawartha Youth Orchestra Jazz Ensemble (3pm) and St. James Players (4pm) will be performing.
Stop by at the Dunk Tank – it’s your opportunity to dunk Andy, Marisa, Bruno or Yvonne

Please bring lawn chairs or blankets. This is a free, family-friendly community event.
