Storytelling Circle Workshop Series

March 31, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

We All Have A Story Within Us. Are You Ready To Discover Yours?

Storytelling is a powerful and useful skill to develop. It can help us discover ourselves, build community and connection, and even market ourselves.

There are many stories when we move to and settle in new countries. This 6-session series provides a space for hands-on training in storytelling where you will learn how to reflect on, develop and share stories about yourself and your experiences through arts-based approaches.

In this small storytelling circle, participants will also work together to tell the stories that are meaningful to them through art, video, podcasts, writing, and/or other mediums.

We will meet in-person weekly on Thursdays for 1.5 hours. During our first session, we will determine as a group a time between 5 to 8pm that works for everyone for the remaining sessions.

Open to newcomers in Peterborough with an intermediate level of English.

Facilitated by Megan Nimigon of Theatre for Good.

Registration is required. To register, or learn more, please contact Bhisham: [email protected]
