Welcome to School – Introduction Day

Is your family new to Canada with school-aged children? Join us for a one-day introduction to school for New to Canada and Multilingual Learner Families
Find out how school works in elementary and secondary schools
Find out what your child needs for school and how you can support them to succeed
Visit an elementary and secondary school in either PVNCCD or KPRD school boards
This one-day introduction will occur at the following locations. Please choose the closest town where your children will be attending school:
Peterborough: Monday, August 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm
Beginning at St. Peter Catholic Secondary School and walking to Queen Mary PS, wrapping up by 4:00 pm.
Bowmanville: Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 1:00 pm
Beginning at St. Stephen Catholic Secondary School and walking to Charles Bowman PS, wrapping up by 4:00 pm.
Cobourg: Friday, August 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm
Beginning at Cobourg Collegiate Institute and walking to C.R. Gummow PS, wrapping up by 4:00 pm.
