Upcoming Renovations at the New Canadians Centre

From Monday, November 12 to Friday, November 23, there will be some renovations occurring at our reception and boardroom areas. Minor disruptions may also occur on Friday, November 9 as we prepare.

During this time, our main entrance on the top floor will be closed off. Clients, staff and friends of the NCC who are visiting us during these two weeks are asked to enter the St. James United Church building, proceed to the second floor and follow the signs to the back entrance. A temporary reception room will be set-up in the Moose Room of the New Canadians Centre.

Please note that during these two weeks of renovations, our office will not be accessible by wheelchair. Please contact us if you require accommodations so that we can arrange an accessible meeting space.

During these two weeks, regular weekly programming at the NCC will be cancelled. A list of cancelled, rescheduled, and unaffected events can be found here.

Clients and volunteers who are scheduled for tutoring at the NCC during this time, please make alternate arrangements.

If you are part of a committee meeting at the NCC, you will receive an email with updates from the committee lead.
