Meet Ana!

Volunteering Since: September 2023.
Languages: English & Portuguese.
I really love volunteering at NCC because I can put in practice my life beliefs in each day of our meetings: love, empathy, hope, kindness, funny activities… and the best part: I always receive much more good vibes than I am able to offer! It is so grateful and magic in my life! I have many experiences that this is a good way to change our day with a simple smile, a plate of food prepared with love, hug and an opening look at the eyes of our customers and friends in our group!
During these years I learned that this Group has a very special gift to communicate and build deeply and true friendships between the participants! For me it’s fantastic and motivates me to keep improving our love and language abilities too (our English is getting better every week)!
When I am not volunteering at NCC I always try to attend some training or activity offered by NCC (I really like being a NCC’s customer too 🙂 ) and refill my energy by praying, getting in contact with nature during a walk at Jackson Creek Trail, cooking real food for my family and some customers and last but not least taking some gym class at YMCA.
I love NCC and our Women’s Group!
Thank you very much NCC and all Women from all group for everything during this time!
