New Canadians Centre Executive Director Hajni Hos speaks to CBC’s Michael Serapio about NCC’s designation as a Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) centre.

Starting in April 2016, Peterborough will be welcoming 3 government assisted refugee families per month. This is a collaborative effort achieved through strong partnerships with community organizations, including the successes of the Refugee Task Force which has representatives from the two school boards, health care sector, educational institutions, the City of Peterborough and many more.
