Samar Sallam

Samar was born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. She is a new immigrant, having moved to Peterborough in August 2020. 

Samar has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Alexandria University and worked as a Physics teacher for middle and high school students for almost 10 years in Egypt. She is currently studying at Fleming College to be an adult trainer.

Before joining the NCC, Samar worked on a collaborative project in Fall 2020 between the NCC and the KPR School Board, where she served as a computer literacy instructor. It was here that she found a passion and joy in helping others.

Apart from work, Samar loves travelling, cooking, walking, listening to music and spending time with her children.
