Empathy in Action – Celebrating National Volunteer Week Event

Let’s come together and celebrate the impact of volunteers!

This event has been rescheduled from April 29 to June 3 at 3pm.

We are fortunate to have over 400 dedicated and passionate volunteers who day in and day out impact the lives of our new Canadian friends. They show up with empathy and help cultivate stronger communities and individuals.

This year, in celebration of National Volunteer Week, join us for connection, light refreshments and a special guest speaker who is a refugee activist. They are a very inspirational speaker who will share their wisdom on volunteering, activism, and using your heart to make a difference. We are keeping their identity confidential, so please do not share their name in relation to this event if you may know them.

Open to NCC volunteers, clients, and community members interested in supporting newcomers. Masks are required during this event.
