The New Canadians Centre (NCC) is seeking proposals from qualified General Contractors interested in the renovation of our Refugee Reception House, located at 65 Brock Street, Peterborough, ON, K9H 2P2.

The renovation project includes the following components:

• Replace external door with power assisted accessible door with paddle
• Replace internal bathroom door with power assisted accessible door with paddle
• Upgrade accessible bathroom by adding such features as a fold down seat in the shower, asplash guard on the floor, additional safety bars around the toilet and an emergency call button.
• Management of all aspects of the project, including any required permits, subcontracting, etc.
